Antique Czech Figural Spider Brooch in Gilt Brass with Aqua Glass

Vintage figural brooch in the form of a spider. Gilt brass body with a large faceted aqua glass stone in the abdomen and a smaller matching stone at the head. Eight jointed legs. Back marked "Czecho" mark associated with Czech jewelry of the 1920s and 1930s.

Condition: good antique condition with honest wear. Verdigris to the reverse and around the bezels. Gilding worn in places.
