Antique Art Nouveau Locket Necklace Brass with Original Photo

A beautiful turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau brass locket. The front features a finely detailed repoussé maiden with wild flowing hair, a signature motif of the period inspired by Mucha and the Gibson Girl aesthetic. The locket opens to reveal an original sepia photograph of a young male. 

Perfect layered with longer chains, worn alone as a delicate everyday piece, or collected for its Art Nouveau craftsmanship.

Condition: Great antique condition. Gilt brass shows a soft warm patina consistent with age, unpolished and left as found. The 14 inch length wears as a high choker on most, or can be layered.
