Vintage Blue Cameo Locket Necklace- Classical Dancing Figures Pendant

A genuinely beautiful antique necklace consisting of a gold tone bar and oval link chain suspending a large oval locket pendant set with a cobalt blue and white cameo depicting two classical figures in the Wedgwood Jasperware tradition. The cameo is exquisite up close, the white relief figures rendered with delicacy and detail against deep cobalt ground. The locket itself is substantial and well made, appearing to function as a locket though it has not been forced open to preserve the piece. Good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age.
