Vintage 1960s Orange Vinyl Quilted Chain Shoulder Bag

Bright orange vinyl in a diamond quilt with contrast white topstitch. Antiqued brass turnlock closure on the front flap. Silver tone chain strap anchored through metal grommets, with riveted rosette washers on the interior. Cream faille lining with one interior slip pocket. The chain can be worn doubled for a short shoulder carry or dropped single for a longer shoulder carry. Unsigned, with no maker label present in the lining, seams, or gusset. Dating is based on construction and materials rather than a mark.

Measurements taken flat: width 9.5 in, height 6 in, depth approx 2.5 in at widest point, chain drop 7.5 in with double strap or 13 in single strap.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The lining has overall discoloration consistent with age. A few loose thread ends at the upper corner of the back pocket opening. Light wear at the corners and edges. The vinyl is glossy throughout with no crazing, cracking, or tackiness. The turnlock engages and the chain hardware is secure with no pulling at the anchor points.
