Vintage 1960s Silvercraft Wicker Basket Bag

Vintage 1960s woven wicker basket bag with a hinged lid and double chain handle. Brass plates at the front with a stylized character motif, brass hinge at the back, and a vintage suitcase style lock closure. Fabric lined lid with the Silvercraft label reading hand made in British Crown Colony Hong Kong.

Condition: good vintage condition. Age appropriate patina to the brass. A few loose cane ends inside the body. Original staple construction visible in the interior. Latch functions and holds the lid shut. No key for the lock.
