Vintage Whiting & Davis Silver Enamel Mesh Evening Bag

Whiting and Davis silver mesh evening bag. Fine enameled mesh in silver mounted on a shaped silver tone frame with a ball clasp and a slim link chain strap. Cream satin lining. Signed Whiting and Davis on the interior label, made in USA. The short chain drop makes this a wristlet or hand carry rather than a shoulder bag.

Condition: The mesh is intact with no visible holes or splits. The lining has separated from the frame along the corner. The lining also shows age markings throughout. The frame shows light surface wear consistent with age. Please see photos. All condition details are reflected in the pricing.
